Why Visit Incheon?

Incheon is Korea's third city, its main international airport, and the place where everyone arrives but few stop. That's a mistake. Incheon has Korea's biggest Chinatown (settled 1884), the futuristic planned city of Songdo, the retro harbor of Wolmido, and is the ferry gateway to 150 offshore islands. It's 45 minutes from central Seoul but feels like a different country.

If you're on a long layover at ICN airport, the city is 45 min by AREX train or subway. For a proper visit, 1-2 days is plenty. Songdo, Chinatown and Wolmido make a full day — Ganghwa Island is a full second day.
